How does VitalSleep work?

The FDA-cleared VitalSleep is a boil and bite mouthpiece designed to gently pull the lower jaw forward, improve airflow into your lungs and allow for quiet breathing while you sleep.

What material is VitalSleep made of?

VitalSleep is made of solely USA sourced materials. It has been cleared by the FDA and is registered with them - 510(k) Number K092942. It is made of a FDA cleared flexible thermoplastic that is made in the USA by Dupont. The latex free and Bisphenol-A (BPA) free material has been classified as safe for use in the mouth. Many other mouthpieces are not FDA cleared and are made overseas WITH NO quality control or safety regulations. We do not recommend you purchase such a device.

All oral stop snoring mouthpieces sold in the USA are regulated by the Food & Drug Administration and must meet their requirements. In order to receive FDA clearance, a product must undergo very strict safety testing. Many other products sold are not FDA cleared and as a result there is not way to verify them for safety. For your safety we do not recommend you purchase such a device.

Can I breathe through my mouth while wearing VitalSleep?

Yes. The VitalSleep Stop Snoring Mouthpiece is designed to allow the user to be able to breathe comfortably through the mouth while wearing it.

If an error is made while fitting or molding VitalSleep please let us know and we will send you a free replacement. We will even replace it for free if your dog chews it up! :)

No. VitalSleep does not have a hinge. It can be adjusted so that the lower half comes forward further to help you stop snoring.

Your VitalSleep Stop Snoring Mouthpiece will last approximately 9-12 months with regular use.

VitalSleep is an FDA-cleared, Class II medical device. Because of this status, it requires a prescription from a licensed physician or dentist. The VitalSleep health questionnaire which is presented during checkout is used to qualify that VitalSleep is suitable for use by the buyer.

We recommend washing your VitalSleep Stop Snoring Mouthpiece with warm water, a toothbrush and toothpaste, after each use. You may also clean it using denture cleaner.

No. There is no sales tax on VitalSleep. Medical devices are not taxable products in the USA.
